María Jiménez: Mi mundo es otro - Season 1 Episode 1
María Jiménez takes a look at her life, conditioned by a hitherto unknown fact: the lung cancer she suffers from and maintains a life-or-death struggle against. Despite her evident physical deterioration, María wants to take advantage of the time she has left to surround herself with her family and her friends and attends her son Alejandro's marriage proposal while remembering the most important chapters of her life. Her childhood in Seville and her difficult relationship with an alcoholic mother turn her, as a child, into a survivor; her escape to Barcelona at only 15 years old, where she knows the meaning of the word freedom and where she begins to sing professionally; the birth of her daughter Rocío when she is only 17 years old and when the girl's father refuses to recognize her; her incessant search for success that finally comes to turn her into a star, or her marriage to Pepe Sancho, who will make her go through the worst stage of her life.
