16-year-old Carly is six months into a difficult pregnancy and struggling to see light at the end of the tunnel. With a history of miscarriage and still born in the family she is worried for the safety of her child; on top of that her already troubled relationship with her younger brother is getting worse by the day so she’s decided to go it alone and move out. Her 34-year-old mum Mandy is desperate to help her daughter, but is her protective nature only helping to drive Carly away?
Mollie from Bristol is 15-years-old and five months pregnant. Wilful from an early age Mollie got kicked out of school at the age of 14 and just months later fell pregnant to her 15-year-old boyfriend. The news devastated her family and pushed her already stormy relationship with 17-year-old sister Izzi to the brink of collapse. Only time will tell if midwife mum Jo's dream will come true: that the baby will bring this waring family back together.
