One night, the kozjak Aljoša kills a priest of the Russian church who found him in the robbery of treasures hidden in the church walls. Young Inspector Stanko Pletikosic gets his first task - to solve this murder together with the inspector-inspector and veteran veteran Andrej Tanasijevic Tane. Stanko seizes Tane in the bar, and the beginning of their cooperation does not seem to be promising. People of Vrangel who are stationed in Belgrade, Colonel Sorokin and Captain Fjodor Fjodorovic, realize that Vrangel's relics have been stolen from the church, but they do not confess it to the police. At the insights of the church, Tane and Stanko seize the bloody message "greeting from Tatk".
