Happy Traveller - Season 9 Episode 19 Albania (Part 5)
Eutychis and Electra start from Examili, opposite Corfu. They explore the islets of the area and go for a swim on the island of "Jamaica" with its "double" beach. They visit one of the most important archaeological sites in Albania, Vuthroto, the ancient city with its Hellenistic, Roman, Ottoman and Venetian past.
Then they go on the road to Argyrokastro and on the way they stop at Galazio Mati with the underground springs that create eddies. Their journey continues in historic Argyrokastro with its emblematic castle and the old town with its imposing mansions.
In the heart of the valley of the river Drinos, they come across a Roman city that was built on the site of the ancient Drynopolis or Dryinoupolis, from which the municipality of Dropolis takes its name. They visit Dervitsani where they talk with locals and go to Vanista, where they enter a very mysterious cave, called "Skotini".
